Deren has alleriges. BADLY.
I love the man so much I'm learning to deal with his constant sneizures and blowing of the nose. I think the poor man is allergic to allergy medicine for cripe sake!!! We discovered he may be allergic to dogs this past fall but we're set on getting a dog this summer or fall - we even shook on a name so stay tuned. I'll give him credit though, he sure does his best to tough out every situation - dogsitting, farmer's markets, flower shops, etc... maybe he's just allergic to me?!? :)
I felt the need to post this because everyone needs to know what I'm marrying into and whoever hangs out with us enough needs to know what may be visiting their house or apartment! haha.

untitled.
I don't know what to call this post. At the risk of sounding vein, our life is so busy! I know everyone's lives are crazy insane and I hate when people want sympathy from me for a busy life but man, when you're living a busy life it's a whirlwind!!! So everyone out there feeling a little crazy - I know how you feel!!
I finally found some time to write a little bit. There is only about a month left until the wedding so all the final plans are coming together. Quickly. All of the final payments and phone calls and emails seem to be happening at the same time. Great. I know everything will turn out wonderful we have a lot of people helping us out. Deren is a great help, he has taken on the DJ duty and any other odds and ends he feels he can manage. Our moms are wonderful with their advice and helping hand. Their advice isn't always taken and I'm definitely learning how to say "No, Thanks" gracefully.
School is down to the wire as well. A classmate was talking about how there was only 5 weeks left in the semester which to me meant only 6 weeks left until the wedding. YIKES. I still have a few projects, papers and finals to finish up with classes before I can concentrate on getting married. It kind of feels surreal at times. As of now I'm shooting for Dean's List - hopefully I can make it. That sure would be nice to start out degree #2 on a high note. Here's to a lot of patience and a lot of hard work. CROSS YOUR FINGERS! :)
Lastly, I simply can't wait to watch my Twins play again. WOOO BASEBALL SEASON! We're going to try to get tickets for games when the Twins are in KC playing the Royals. Hopefully we'll be home those weekends so I can feel like I'm home in MN :) I just love baseball. I love the MN Twins!

Spring Break
It's my school's spring break so I'm enjoying just working half days and having no class this week. I still have a lot to do, so it's not really much of a 'break.'
The Bach Party was a success! All my favorite people in one spot at one time (give or take a few people) and it couldn't have been more fun. We went to the melting pot for dinner and then out to the P&L for bar time :) Here are some pictures because words can't describe the craziness and shambled weekend we had!
Deren's Bach Party is next weekend - a bunch of his friends are coming to KC for it as well. So I'll update this with pictures from his (if I'm allowed, haha)
Between the half days of work and having school off I'm trying to find the time to run outside especially with the weather being nice. I was feeling nostalgic about a few summers ago when my friend Sarah and I used to run together and we did a 5K together. I would love to get myself motivated alone to run a few more 5Ks but I'm lacking the motivation only found in a running partner. BOOOO. Until then, I'm trying my best!

Two Months to Go!
The wedding is coming up SO QUICKLY! We have so much accomplished but I feel like there is still a lot to do! We have been on the go with road trips back and forth for showers and planning. There is only more to come...We are SO lucky to have such gracious and awesome friends. Our friends are all coming to Kansas City for our Bachelorette and Bachelor party weekends. We are so lucky.
